Explore The World...

Hi Everyone...it's Monday once again...don't they come round quickly and of course that means it's time to hop over to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog...thank you for joining us for last week's "Halloween/MemoryBox" challenge...we hope you can join us this week too because...

and the theme for this week is...
EXPLORE THE WORLD
and wherever on this wonderful planet your travels might take you...it's always handy to have a Travel notebook to store little momentos, tickets and the like. I wanted mine to have a vintage "old crinkled and well travelled"  look...a bit like myself some would say
I started off by cutting thick chipboard to measure 6" x 7" and covered with papers from Tim Holtz Correspondence Paper Stash Pad...
giving them a coat of Distress Collage Medium Vintage for an aged look...
I stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Cityscapes on to one of the papers from the stash pad with Black Archival Ink and fussy cut them.
I added Tim Holtz/Sizzix Thinlits Globe die cut...fixed everything in place with Distress Collage Medium Vintage and coloured with Candied Apple and Lucky Clover Distress Crayons from Set 4.
added Passport and Correspondence Design Tape...stamped the postal image from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Shabby French and added splatters of Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Paint...
I stamped the Cityscape Images again and fixed to Fragments with Glossy Accents to feature some of the best known iconic landmarks in the world.
added Words Remnant Rubs and Small Talk Stickers...
Label Letters...
a Typed Token and Philosophy Tag...highlighting the words with Picket Fence Distress Crayon.
I cut a strip of Substrate Sheet to create a spine for the notebook...added pages cut from the Correspondence Paper Stash Pad and used The Cinch to bind the notebook...

You can find all the products I used over at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp online store...just click on the links below...
